Paul Sacco (B.A.Sc. MBA) founded Propheta Lucro in 2009. With a passion for strategy and skepticism for its status quo, Paul went on a Strategy Quest to better understand the Strategic Mindset. The result was his book, Strategy Quest - The Executive Guide for Finding Business Opportunities and his Strategy Quest training program.
Our mission is to help executive develop their strategic mindset so that their business might gain ground or distance on competitors. I want executives to understand that it is not strategic following business trends or competitors. As Harvard Professor Michael Porter once wrote, "Competitive strategy is about being different. It means deliberately choosing a different set of activities to deliver a unique mix of value."
Our approach is to help leaders learn to use the right brain's strategic intuition to create visions and concepts and left brain's strategic thinking to judge whether these are strategic opportunities. Business schools only teach current state strategic analysis, but, business strategy is about finding future opportunities. As Peter Drucker once said, "The only way to predict the future is to create it."
